Started in 2005 by Michael Peterson in the streets of NYC, YUME isa multiplatformed lifestyle brand that looks to create avenues for independent thinkers to live and experience their dreams. Encompassing Music, Art, and Fashion, YUME strives to provide unique services, products and programming while redistributing all things Music, Art, and Fashion into the community.YUME will serve as a grassroots cultural and educational movement for youth and adult alike. The brand encompasses YUME MUSIC, YUME ART, YUME FASHION, THE YUME CONCEPT SPACE ,THE YUME CLUB & THE YUME COLLECTION . As well as our annual season of events YUME Fest, set to launch 7/2010. These components help to harness The YUME Group’s unique approach to providing the very best in event management, production, and consulting into a tangible lifestyle that all walks of life can be apart of . Through innovative and diverse programming, inspiring music, cutting edge design, and building a global community, we hope to create a timeless warp of artistic exchange.
- YUME Music: YUME Music’s sole mission is to provide an avenue for the serious development of the artist’s professional career and reputation in the indie and major music markets across the globe. Whether you are trying to introduce yourself to new listeners, break a phenominal single, or create a buzz for an innovative product or project revolving around your music, YUME provides the expertise and tools to generate results. One of the main goals of every artist is to get exposure and to be able to make a living from their music. These unique mentoring and development programs give artists these tools for success.
- YUME Art; exhibits a genre of work influenced by illustration, comic books, graffiti, street art and pop culture imagery. We represent a mix of emerging and mid-career level artists with an emphasis on cultivating new talent and creating an environment where artists can further develop their work. Stylistic and ideological tendencies shared by our artists create a fluid continuity within our program. Dissatisfaction with the conventional definitions of art and art making, an attraction to alternative subcultures and the creative energy inspired by the Do it Yourself ethic acts as a common thread. The works produced are primarily figurative with a strong sense of narration – the artist as storyteller. Our mission is the serious development of the artist’s professional career and reputation in different arenas. YUME Art looks to dispel the myth that artists compromise integrity by obtaining assistance and support in their career development and promotion. In truth, these services can catapult a mid-career artist into the kind of success that enables them to focus solely on the production and quality of the work.

- THE YUME CONCEPT SPACE: YUME Events bridge the gap between the expertise and service we bring to our clients and the people who inspire the innovation and creativity The YUME Group is so well known for encompassing music, art, and fashion. YUME Events are held within THE YUME CONCEPT SPACE in venues across the world for a short time. The goal is to broaden the spectrum of people the YUME expereince reaches. We bring those in attendance our very own brand of experience and lifestyle through our events beckoning them to join us as we journey on the road of creating TIMELESS experiences throughout the world.Each space will serve as a special experience and will try include an art gallery, music production studio, event space, and clothing boutique.
- THE YUME COLLECTION: The YUME Collection is a mix of modern and vintage accesories for men and women. Combined with our very own in house produced brand of accesories we stryve to provide the very best accesories for all occcasions and walks of life. Our vintage collection consists of pieces from as early as the 1900s while our in house brand sports wonderful collaborative pieces from brands, artists, musicians, and stores from around the world.
- YUME FEST: YUME FEST is a global grassroots festival that looks to support, celebrate, and redefine the vibrant “urban contemporary” music, art, and fashion community throughout the globe, and find innovative ways of working together towards common goals. We aim to shed light on the international bond the YUME lifestyle creates by bringing musicians, artists, and fashionistas from across the globe together to showcase their talent, skill, and knowledge. Via YUME Fest we will share this experience with youth, teen, and adults alike while creating an international exchange of ideas and methods.
