At YUME, the lifestyle division of THE YUME GROUP, we tend to try to get people to understand that dreams are attainable and that in order to attain them you must live them. Over the past year or so we have stepped away from the confines of our Loftique and ventured out into the world spreading our mantra and trying our best to create a viable community of individuals that are harnessing their talent for the greater good.

To make the lifestyle more tangible and to reaffirm his commitment to creating a truly timeless company YUME Mike will be embarking on a 1 year pilgrimage back to the YUME Loftique. Inspired by a recent social experiment conducted by Dave Stefan, where he took his life and put it on a 12 month expiration date, YUME Mike will follow suit with a minor variation hoping to answer the question “How can I create a timeless stamp on the world if I only had 12 months to live?” His journey begins tomorrow August 1st. Please check in daily as he will be chronicling his entire journey right here on our site as well as on Facebook, and even twitter (he hates twitter by the way).

This experiment will go for an entire year August 1st 2010 to August 1st 2011 and will end with the newly relaunched YUME Loftique & The YUME Art Gallery.

I consistently challenge others to live their dreams, but I tend to shy away from things I may waver about or be scared of when it comes to my personal achievement. I will take these things and become an active participant in realizing and achieving them. Living life as if I had no choice but to achieve these dreams, this is what THE YUME EXPERIMENT is.
